Kalki reveals Hrithik, Abhay and Farhan’s singing secret!

To pass the time while shooting in Spain for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, the film’s cast would sing songs to each other

Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Farhan Akhtar have crooned the melodious and foot-tapping number ‘Senorita’ in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Now their co-star Kalki Koechlin reveals that in an impromptu act the musical talent that three actors displayed in the song failed miserably.For a song sequence in ZNMD, the pretty lady and her filmi buddies had to drive through Spain. “We would spend eight hours together in the car, just driving along the roads of Spain,” she recalls. “We spent a lot of time together and to kill time we sang a lot of songs. It’s my favourite memory of working on the film. We sang lots of silly songs. All four of us were singing really out of tune,” laughs Kalki. That means technology is the secret behind the melodious rendition of ‘Senorita’. The newlywed actor reveals another secret about her co-star, the Rock On dude. She says, “Farhan was the pro at the Hindi songs. He knows them all! Obviously!” So what songs did she sing? “I was the one teaching them French songs or stupid English songs,” she giggles. Nothing stupid about that wethinks; for all you know, Hrithik could be making notes while Kalki was singing. Jotting down song names for a French version of Kites perhaps?
