Did Katrina sideline Kalki?

Recent reports claim that Anurag Kashyap’s new bride Kalki Koechlin was uneasy with star Katrina Kaif on the sets ofZindagi Na Milegi Dobara

When there are two female actors working together on a film, fireworks of the ‘different’ kind are a must. Apparently the latest women who did not see eye-to-eye on a shoot are Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin. And this one comes from the sets of Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. It was reported that despite an equal role in the film, Kalki was given little importance and that upset her. The young actor, who is currently shooting for Dibaker Banerjee’sShanghai in Baramati, laughed at the story when we asked about it. She said, “Really, wow! I didn’t even know about this. No, I got along very well with her. I was actually surprised. Everybody said Katrina is a big star and I wondered how it was going to be with her. But she is very down to earth.” ZNMD is shot extensively in Spain and the cast and crew spent a long time away from home. Anurag’s new bride tries to clear up any hint of controversy: “I don’t know if it’s the atmosphere that was created or what, because Zoya is not someone who brings up stardom. She really treats everybody the same way. So everybody was equal on the sets. We all ate together and went out together. It was a very down to earth atmosphere. And I never really felt any tension with Katrina.”
